Noe PI vacation Sep5-Oct4 – test only

Hi everyone, Just came back from a 1 month vacation in PI. Attended both high school and college reunions in Metro Manila, traveled to Cebu to join classmates there, and bonded with my sisters, brothers, and nephews in QC. We went for bike rides in Himlayang Pilipino nearby. Drove with family to Real via Tanay for lakwatsa where we spent overnight in a resort cottage. The resort employees were all beautiful tisays clad in shorts – (kasalanan na naman). Bought fresh seafood following morning after brother took us on drive tour along Quezon coastal highway. Had pancit on return trip in Tanay and enjoyed goat dishes on the way too. We got fern tops on the way and made into salad in QC. We prospected a camp site that overlooks the Pacific in the horizon as viewed from the mountains. Our eldest passed away last August and we went o Cavite for his inurnment. Bonded with brother and his family amid stories of his long distance runs. Eldest sister Fe cooked pinangat from taro we harvested and cleaned from the garde. Sarrap! From which it was named as Fenangat. Ate Ampy also cooked pinangat too-made from fresh anchovy- later dubbed Ampynangat :). Vacation ended with kamayan at Gubat resto (behind city hall followed by videoke over Red Horse and wines at home. Excitement filled and memorable vacation! Torture in the air with diahrrea in the plane all the way home to Toronto – consumed 10 immodiums during the trip. Recovered by now. Rode the bike to nearby Morningside park for the salmon run. It appears it already happened while i was away as there were no splashes in the water. But saw at least 3 foot long salmons under water. Attempted to fish- would have been happy for a single cath but no luck. Thinking salmon migration was over as the breeze is now distictly cold at 7C – another year to wait for fishing season. Even my daily cycle ride became chilly, cycling not possible without jacket on . Just wanted ti share the experince. Regards to you and family.
