Thanksgiving Prayer

Great thanks talaga classmates for yesterday’s reunion. Enjoy talaga! As I returned to my community, there is a prayer that kept springing in my heart from all the get together memories and chats we had and I would like to share with you our prayer…
God our Father and Lord of Creation,
We praise and thank you for having gathered us for our reunion to mark our 44th graduation anniversary. We thank you for the eager responses and interest of each one to make this reunion possible from planning to the big day itself – the shirts, the design, the lunch venue, the music lounge, and the small group reunions that took place beforehand.
We have come from far and near, from north to south of the country, from north and south continents of the world. You made our time together joy-filled as we shared memories of days gone by and news of where life’s journey has taken us, of achievements gained, of challenges overcome and of inspiring contributions we have collectively made as individuals to the betterment of life as citizens, friends, teachers, parents, aunties, grandparents, spouses or missionaries where we are.
How we enjoyed our meals together and the singing! We were able to connect with those who were not around – Noe & Emil and remembered those we cannot locate – Myrna & Archie and prayed in our hearts for the eternal repose of those who have gone before us – Tet, Arnel, Emma, Robert & Evelyn.
Grant safe journeys to all who will return to their homes to near and far places as we look forward to our next reunion.
We continue to pray that Your abiding Presence would remain among us and rest on each one of us and our loved ones over the coming years as we continue to praise and serve you wherever you send us.
We ask this in Jesus. Amen
Olga
Amen.
Thank you Sr @Magda Larcia for the beautiful prayer and thanks for always praying for all of us. God bless po 🥰
