LOVE, friendship and Mathematics…….
Those who got married among the members of our class are indeed lucky in LOVE. Congratulations to Olga and Danny Esguerra who celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary. Olga is Math (Batch B) and Danny is Physics (Batch A).
Olga and I were assigned as Assistant to the Trainor in Math at Aquinas University, Legaspi City where we had experienced teaching high school Mathematics teachers during our third year in college. It is during that time that we solved for the volume of Mayon Volcano in a contest sponsored by the then Commission on Volcanology. Wala naman palang pampremyo.
The original love team of our class is Josephine Jardin of Cebu City and Alex Romero of San Fernando, Pampanga. They got married when we were in fourth year and had their first-born son whose godparents were almost all the members of the class.
Such beautiful love stories they have and such wonderful kids they have raised. Marami ay mahuhusay sa Mathematics ang mga anak, di ba Helen Paradero-Montalbo, Ruel Romarate and Salvador Torculas ? Di ba Olga and Danny Esguerra, Melvin and Amelia Oli-Macogay Jojo and Leonor Aquino-Ruivivar, Amy and Ranulfo Guce , Anabelle and Joseph Aranas, Alex and Josephine Jardin-Romero?

Ang galing ng memory mo mareng Thelma. Hindi ko maalala kung may kasama ako when I was sent to UST as assistant to the Math trainors to HS teachers.
